Adobe® InDesign® CS5.5 Server software delivers a robust and scalable engine that leverages the design, layout, and typographical capabilities of Adobe InDesign CS5.5 software to enable you to programmatically create engaging automated documents.
Support for a wide variety of languages
Publish documents for use worldwide with support for 24 languages including Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Hebrew, and Japanese. Further support includes Roman line breaks for Japanese hyphenation and Chinese indexing.
Job queuing and load balancing
Reduce downtime and improve responsiveness. Use job queues to prioritize tasks, and use load balancing to distribute tasks efficiently to multiple servers.
Document-installed fonts
Avoid the hassle of missing fonts. When a packaged document is opened, InDesign Server installs those fonts for use only in that document, and uninstalls them when the document is closed. Appropriate font licenses are required.
Live captions
